The Florida Department of Health has partnered with HealthARCH to engage health system organizations and social service organizations with establishing regional learning collaboratives to improve hypertension and high cholesterol treatment in priority populations in 15 counties.

Florida HIV EHE Technical Assistance Program

The Florida Department of Health has partnered with HealthARCH to engage health system organizations with one-on-one technical assistance to improve HIV screening and re-screening rates. This Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) program focuses on seven Florida counties (Broward, Duval, Hillsborough, Miami-Dade, Orange, Palm Beach and Pinellas) with an aim to increase the performance of health systems in managing Opt-out testing using electronic health record systems.

Florida Pediatric Patient Centered Medical Home Recognition Program

Coverdell Learning Collaborative (Florida Stroke Registry)

The Florida Department of Health and the University of Central Florida College of Medicine’s HealthARCH (HealthARCH) have partnered to engage health system organizations with one-on-one technical assistance to assist eligible pediatric and family medicine NCQA recognized patient centered medical homes (PCMH) achieve an additional level of recognition, Distinction in Behavioral Health Integration (BHI). This NCQA distinction program provides eligible health systems with personalized assistance from HealthARCH to navigate the NCQA Distinction process.

Million Hearts Initiative

MillionHearts™ initiative was created to prevent 1 million heart attacks and strokes over the next five years. This public-private national initiative is bringing together a wide range of heart disease and stroke prevention programs, policies, and activities to raise awareness about what can be done to prevent heart disease and stroke in our nation.
